Key Notes: The Lady Crusader's of Holy Cross look to turn their season around while they play a home and home against Franklin Pierce this upcoming weekend. The two teams are both winless, I predict a fast start will win it for whoever comes out of the gates snapping it around. The Lady Eagles of Boston College look to keep their momentum going after starting the season 3-0. The Eagles finished the 2020-21 season with a impressive regular season but ultimately had a disappointing post-season. On the Men's side I witnessed Boston Collège dummy Holy Cross. Just 3:11 into the first period Holy Cross found themselves down 3-0. Freshmen goalie Thomas Gale (Holy Cross) was put in after the Eagles third goal. In his first NCAA action he was impressive to say the least. Gale faced 36 shots and made 34 saves against a very strong Eagles team. The Crusaders future looks bright with him between the pipes. The first game on Saturday I saw Quinnipiac defeat Northeastern quite easily. The Bobcat's were bigger, faster and much stronger. As a team, Quinnipiac dominated the ice a full 200 feet. Northeastern will look to bounce back as they travel across town to visit Boston College Friday the 15th.
