From Umass to San Jose Sharks teammates:

Former Umass and Springfield Cathedral star John Leonard scored his first career NHL goal last night(2/15) against the Anaheim Ducks. Quite a unique goal. While on the powerplay the goal was scored at 10:17 of the first period, assisted by former teammate and Minutemen, Mario Ferraro. Even more unique, the goal was screened by Mass native and Harvard alum Ryan Donato. Seems although San Jose is trying to keep ties with their former AHL affiliates home state.
