Currently, Yandle in under contract with the Florida Panthers, the contract is a seven year, $44.5MM deal with three years remaining. Under this contract he cannot be placed on waivers or be traded to any team without his approval. Recently, the rumor around the league is that Yandle could be open to a trade to two certain teams, and it seems as though he has close ties to both teams. The Boston Bruins are one of the two teams. I believe Yandle would approve this trade, for the obvious reason of which he is a Massachusetts native. He would be a great addition to the Bruins back end, fulfilling the missing pieces of both Chara's leadership and Krug's offensive impact. I can see Yandle easily quarterbacking the powerplay and generating plenty of offense at even strength. If the Bruins were to make an offer for Yandle, Sweeney would have his work cut for him as the Bruins only have about $3 million in cap space.

The second team on Yandle suspected trade list in the Flyers. Now, I only believe Yandle would approve this trade because his long time buddy Kevin Hayes, Boston native, has been a stud for the Flyers. Either way, Yandle's approval of what team he goes to will be tracked back to his home routes.
