Ice Breaker Tournament

This upcoming fall the Holy Cross Crusaders will be hosting the "Ice Breaker Tournament" that will kick off the 2021-2022 NCAA Hockey season. The tournament will be a four-team tournament that includes Boston College, Quinnipiac, Northeastern and of course Holy Cross. The games are schedule to take place October 8th and 9th, which will be a great start to the hockey season for the Crusaders and their fans. Located on one of Worcesters many hills, I expect the Hart Center to be jam packed that Friday and Saturday night. Worcester natives will be itching to see some live hockey, and I'm sure the visiting team's fans will proudly take the hour or so ride to the heart of central Mass. This exciting tournament will be the first opening season tournament played in Massachusetts since Boston University hosted in 2008. Although it is quite some time away, this should be a great weekend of hockey.
