Game Day For Swayman

The Boston Bruins have fallen into quite the situation. Starting goalie Tuukka Rask is still on the IR with a upper body injury. Backup goalie, Jaroslav Halak, is missing game number two due to the NHL Covid-19 protocol. Game number two without the the vets mean Jeremy Swayman will make his NHL debut against the Flyers. After backing up Daniel Vladar last night, I expect Swayman to be hungry to get some action. In his first pro season, the 22-year-old has been lights out in Providence. He has posted an 8-1 record, with a 1.89 GAA and .933 save percentage. Hopefully the B's can bounce back after a tough overtime loss last night, and get a much needed two points.
