The B's are officially back with camp opening up today. The boys were buzzin around Warrior Ice Arena, although key pieces from last season's team were missing. Over the off season the Bruins let Krug and Chara ink contracts with new organization, leaving some pretty big shoes for young guys to fill. Another familiar face was missing today, David Pastrnak, who will not be ready to start the season.

So who should Bruins fans be watching for? Rumor has it Craig Smith was ripping shots and flying around the ice. The right winger is expected to play on the third line with Charlie Coyle. The signing of Smith is very exciting, his presence makes the Coyle line as strong as any third line in the NHL.

Jack Studnicka will be filling in on the Bergeron line until Pasta is back. The 21 year old was a second round pick by the Bruins in 2017. Studnicka is strong on his stick, and moves the puck quickly. Bergeron on Studnicka " I was really impressed with his development from training camps last year to training camp in the bubble... The jump he made was amazing to see." Studnicka played 60 games with Providence last year, he scored 23 goals and assisted on 26.
